Martha Glowacki

Martha Glowacki’s sculpture concerns human observation and description of the natural world. She is particularly interested in developing themes and images from two areas of inquiry: the history of science and scientific illustration, and the history of natural history collections and museums. She has also developed a personal symbolism of death and rebirth expressed through images taken from nature. Martha is currently Director of the Watrous Gallery of the Wisconsin Academy, Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters.
